"A d-dragon?" Lucy said. "How can this be? dragons are supposed to be.. extinct". Lucy was to afraid to move, she just stared at the sleeping dragon. The dragon started to stir and his stomach growled like an erupting volcano. Lucy quickly got up and ran towards the tunnel till a loud and deep voice came from behind her. "Are you her?" it asked. "Are you the lost princess?". Lucy froze, she was shocked and wondering why she was able to understand him. But she did not answer. "If you can understand me, say something. I need to know if your her", the dragon said. "I-I can understand you, but I don't know who you are talking about", Lucy replied. She was a bit afraid of speaking to him. But the dragon didn't reply, all was silent. Lucy got scared, afraid if she said the wrong thing. She didn't want to turn around for she expected to see him glaring at her. Then their was a wispering noise behind her and a wind started in the room. The voice then came again, except this time more soft and .. human?. "I've been waiting so long for you to come back", it said. Lucy turned around and saw an average height guy with rose like hair. He had hardly any clothes on except for some shorts that were pretty torn. Their was also a scar on his neck that stood out."A-are you? where is? how?" Lucy had no idea what had happened. " I can take form of a dragon, but I am human", he told her."What is your name?", she asked. "That doesn't need to be said right now, you will know more of me later on", he told her. She was confused. Lucy had a lot of questions to ask but she felt like one should be answered first. "Who were you talking about? When you asked me if I was 'her'?" Lucy asked. "The lost princess. I once protected her. But something happened to her and made her stop dreaming. She disappeared and no matter where I looked I couldn't find her. I tried to ask the villagers but without the princess I cant be in my human form so they didn't understand me.", he told Lucy. Lucy was still very confused. "The villagers attacked me and I attacked back unconsciously. I didn't mean to hurt anyone.", he said. " I was miserable, but now your back." he looked at her with happy eyes.

"I think you have the wrong person. I've never met you before.", Lucy told him. "No? Then how come I am able to speak to you and come to my original form after many years of being a dragon.", he told Lucy. Lucy didn't know what to say, she didn't understand the situation. "I-I don't know. But I'm not a princess, I'm Lucy Heartfilia, I don't know how I got here or why I'm in your pre-". Lucy was interrupted. The pink haired boy had brought a kiss to her. Lucys first kiss, she was surprised and confused. He looked at her with relieved eyes and smiled. "Lucy..", he said. "It is you", he said hugging her tightly. Lucys heart was thumping so fast she couldn't even think. She just stood there in his arms. She didn't know what to do or say. Suddenly the ground shook and the walls started to tremble. "Whats going on?!" Lucy cried. "It's going to happen", the dragon boy said. "We have to leave", he told her grabbing onto her hand. They ran towards the back of the big room where their was a door that led out. They tried to dodge everything that was falling from above them. Of course, Lucy tripped and above her the ceiling was about to fall. She covered herself knowing she was going to get crushed. A loud thud was heard followed by a groan. She opened her eyes to find the dragon boy shielding her. His face seemed as if he was in some pain. "Lucy get up we need to hurry", he told Lucy. She listened to him and ran out towards the door followed by the dragon. Once outside he turned into his dragon form and took her in his hands. He flew up to a hill close to the building. Lucy was terrified and had no idea what was happening. She was wishing that she never went into that alley. The dragon put her down and turned back to his original form.

"What's happening? Why did that place collapse all of a sudden?", Lucy asked him. "That place used to be our castle Lucy. This place used to have people living here and trees grew. But since you went away, I was alone and.. well I already told you what happened after I couldn't find you. I stayed here determined that you will be back.", he told her. "That didn't answer my question!", Lucy was very confused and uneasy."It's because your back Lucy. You where the heart of this place and after you left six years ago, darkness started taking over. Everything that's beautiful or ever was turned evil and dark. When that happened, a spell was cast among here to destroy all of Fiore if you returned.", he said to her. Lucy looked at him in fear. "What?.."
